Here at Mirakai we believe in the power of three.  That is - everything you create in your space should have at least three intentional purposes.  A chicken coop, for example, can also serve as water collection, growing space, tool storage, and much more.  If you don't create three intentional purposes for a structure, you can be sure that Nature will fill in the gaps, and probably not in a way you anticipated!  Come help develop Mirakai's infrastructure while learning valuable planning, building and maintenance skills, all with a focus on sustainability and balance.

• Chicken coop remodel - living roof; water collection; space for multiple species
• Crooked Cottage - salvaged materials; composing toilet; art and meeting space
• Earth-sheltered greenhouse - building with earthbags; passive solar design
• Hobbit House - building with on-site materials; natural lumber; earthern floors
• Colonial fencing - pick it up and plonk it down; look ma - no tools!
• Swimming pond - water filtration; natural habitat creation; sustainable fun!

Never held a hammer in your life?  No worries!  We have decades of experience to share.  

Been building since you were a toddler?  Fantastic!  Come share your knowledge with others, and maybe even pick up a few new tricks.

No matter how much we know, there is always more to learn.  Here at Mirakai we believe that life is not complete without growth, and growing perspective is the best way to create a more balanced, equitable future.
